1) Add new bark
The first thing to do is repot it in a fresh substrate made from pine bark specifically for orchids.
This helps because:

it helps the roots dry better
-
prevents rot
-
allows the roots to breathe
Orchids don't live in common soil: they suffocate.

2) Add water… the right way
It is not necessary to water more, but to water well and less often.
How to do it:

immerse the vase in warm water for 10 minutes

it drains perfectly
-
water again only when the bark is almost completely dry
Soft leaves + rotten roots = too much water.
Wrinkled leaves + dry roots = too little water.
