Blend the cucumber: Place the peeled and diced cucumbers in a blender with 1 cup of cold water. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and liquid.

Strain (optional): If you prefer a clear lemonade, strain the cucumber puree through a fine strainer or nut milk bag into a large pitcher to remove the pulp. For a more fibrous, agua fresca-style lemonade, you can skip this step.

Prepare the base: Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and your chosen sweetener (honey or sugar) to a pitcher. Stir vigorously until the sweetener is completely dissolved.

Dilution: Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well.

Taste: Taste it quickly. If it's too tart, add another tablespoon of sweetener. If it's too sweet, add a splash of lemon juice or water.

Chill and garnish: Add plenty of ice cubes to the pitcher. Add a few lemon and cucumber slices for a beautiful presentation.

Serving: Pour into glasses and garnish with a fresh mint leaf for an extra burst of flavor.
